Q:  What forms of payment do you accept?

A:  We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express

Q:  Is shipping expensive?

A:  Yes, it is, but remember that retailers also have to pay for shipping. You will always end up paying for shipping in the final cost.  In some areas there are some stores that sell Amish furniture and you may want to visit them to do some comparative shopping.  We do welcome this.

Q:  It is safe to use my credit card?

A:  Yes, our site uses the latest version of Secure Socket Layer Technology (SSL) to encrypt you information.  Please visit our Privacy Policy.

Q: Can I order by Mail or Phone or Fax?

A:  Not at this time.  We will be implementing a call center in the future.  We are an eCommerce company and do not accept mail orders.  You will be able to fax us in the very near future, but we will not take orders over the fax for your security.  This is not a secure means of transferring personal and financial information.

Q: Can I pick up my order?

A:  No.  In working with the Amish craftsmen, we asked them this question and they wished to have their right to privacy.  We respect their decision and have incorporated this as our policy.  You can visit their communities in Nappanee IN, Shipshewana IN or LaGrange IN.  There are a lot of Amish shops and hotels in Shipshewana IN, and if you are interested, spend a day or week and meet the Amish there.  They welcome your visit.

Q: What happens after I place my order?

A:  Upon receiving your order, we will check the status of your item(s).  If they are in stock and it is a UPS order, we will send you an email. It will be shipped in 3 – 5 working days.  Your account will be debited only upon shipment.  If your order is PackShip USA or White Glove, we send out for a quote and check on stock.  We will email you within 2 working days as to status and the cost of shipping, and at that time, you we can accept or reject your order.  Upon acceptance, we arrange for pickup and packaging.  When the item(s) is shipped, we will debit your account.

Q: Can I cancel my order?

A:  Yes, within 24 hours of placement of the order.  By email  - Only.

Q: How long does it take for me to receive my order after shipment?

A:  This depends on how it is shipped.  If shipped UPS, it should be shipped if in stock within 2 – 4 working days.  The actual transit time depends upon where you live and can be up to 5 more working days.  The closer you live to Northern Indiana, the shorter the transit time.  If you are to receive PackShip or White Gloves, it can be two weeks or more, depending on stock customization and distance.

Q: Is my personal information kept private?

A:  We consider the information you choose to share with us personal and confidential. We do not share your personal information without your express consent, see our Privacy Policy.

Q: How much do you charge for sales tax?

A:  If you reside in the State of Indiana there is a calculated 6% added to your cart.  Currently, if you live in any other state, no sale tax applies.

Q: How much do you charge for handling costs?

A:  You will see these charges on checkout of the items that are going UPS.  If PackShip or White Glove, you will know the charges via email and accept charges and order prior to any shipment

Q: How many items do you have, and will you carry others in the future?

A:  We currently carry 900 items.  We will be increasing to other product lines in the near future.  We constantly review our current sales of items; we may have to drop some items because of lack of consumer interest or an artisan changing his business. We would like your response on any additional Amish made products you would like to purchase.

Q: Do you have foreign made products?

A:  We only carry products only made in the United States of America, USA.  We will never intentionally carry any products that are made in any foreign country.  This is our current and permanent policy.
