Very Large Table for a Very Large Home
One must have a big home or mansion to enjoy this very well-designed and hefty table. This is not meant for the normal home. This table has been designed and created for those that give large parties or large formal dinners. Its design is one of stability and function, but one of refinement and magnificence. This table is awesome and looks massive, but the clever concealment of the center pedestal inside what appears to be the main pedestal is truly clever and amazing.
The 6” pedestal in the center remains stationary to support the table while the 10” pedestal splits causing ½ of pedestal to support opposite ends. This is an event to see being opened. One would ask on how that was done. We can always say Magic, but it is really great design and engineering.
This table is available in either a Round Top being standard or a Square Round Top as being an option. You must signify your preference of one or the other.
This table comes standard with wooden non-geared slides because these slides are actually the best. A table usually has a outward camber to it design, or it pushes slightly to the outside. Geared slides are built with an inward camber or pushing towards the inside. This causes a slight gap on the table. With long length, there is an issue of stability and therefore we only sell these models with the wooden non-geared slides. Years upon years of building these tables are their teacher.
